Olesea Albu

My name is Olesea Albu. I was born in Moldova — a country of wide, poetic landscapes that shaped my artistic perception from an early age.

At 13, I began studying painting and drawing, later specializing in the restoration of easel and oil paintings at the Higher College of Art. These formative years deepened my understanding of materials — their surfaces, textures, and silent memory.

My work exists at the intersection of painting, drawing, scenography, and digital media. I am drawn to the human body as both form and metaphor — dissolving, emerging, and engaging with light, shadow, and space. My visual language blends classical techniques with abstraction, using impasto, glazes, gesture, and texture to explore what remains when form disappears.

I have participated in over 20 international group exhibitions and held two solo shows. In 2025, I received the Artist of the Year award in Florence, and since 2024, I am a member of the Union of Visual Artists of Romania (UAP). My works are held in private collections across Europe, the UK, and the US.

Today, I continue to explore the tension between body and space, merging tradition with experimentation. I believe that a painting can become a stage where the viewer encounters something essential within themselves. And if that moment happens — then the work has fulfilled its purpose.

Linda Medd

Linda Medd is a mixed media artist working in contemporary abstract and non-representational styles. Inspired by her life-long connection with the natural world she brings organic shapes, texture and pattern into her work. She paints intuitively beginning with gestural marks, often writing words or a quote on the canvas. As she paints, new ways to combine color, shape and line spontaneously emerge. Her paintings are built through many layers and evolve as she adds and takes away. By the time a painting is finished there are many layers creating a degree of mystery about what is underneath.

She works with a variety of mediums including acrylic paint, ink, water media, oil pastels and graphite. Hand-made collage papers and monoprints are often incorporated into her work. She enjoys experimenting with non-conventional tools often using found objects or nature elements to make unique marks and create texture.

Painting is the most fulfilling way she has found for self-expression. She loves the satisfaction of watching her work evolve over time, often changing completely over time.

Joanie Levine

If one looks deep enough into the paintings of Joanie Levine, an entire new world is discovered — a world of textures, colors, and inferences of both the natural world and the cosmic.
Levine grew up in Ohio and began her adult journey with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She then successfully pursued a career as a stockbroker and certified financial planner, allowing her to retire at the early age of 55. Afler retirement, the seeds planted in ber mind from her father's mathematical genius influences of dark holes, quasars, and his love of Einstein could no longer wait in the shadows. While Leving had always loved a variety of creative projects from interior design to designing furniture, it was her curiosity towards abstract painting al mid-life that became the fertile soil for those seeds planted in childhood to binet.
She was now on a quest of self-discovery and exploration of higher consciousness through her own imagination and creating fine art.
Influcnced by some of the greats such as Warhol, Twombly, and Snyder, artist Joanie Levine has no doubt found her guru - her own imagination itself. Levine's works strike a harmonious chord of strength, softness, peace, chaos, nature, and cosmos. She continues to hold true to her childbood influences af Einstein and his wise words, "Logic gets you from A to B... imagination will take you everywhere. Imagination embraces the entire world." Levine's paintings are rich with imagination, are a testimony of exploration and curiosity

as well as an invitation to embrace a whole new world.

biography

This dingy coffee pot is a vessel of my past, present, and future history. From my first painting that I sold to my elementary school Assistant Principal, a junior high painting that was displayed at the White House, to Germany, where, while enlisted, I became the first Black graphics illustrator in the Air Force, it was there. The paint and watermarks on this vessel are remnants of certified originals at Princeton University, with Former President Jimmy Carter, generations of art collectors, and more than 70 years of passion. My mom was, is, and forever will be my inspiration, sacrificing this coffee pot that has held my brushes since childhood. She gave me a key to what is my lifeblood. I don't just make art. I dream about it, I breathe it, I can't live without it! And now, I share it with you. May you enjoy my creations, disc
